The make-up day for the first tryouts is June 27, 2026, from 4-6 PM at Best Athletics.
10U eligibility is based on your child's age according to USSSA/Perfect Game guidelines. Typically, your player must not turn 11 before the cutoff date, usually May 1.
Age Breakdown For 9U In 2026 / 10U In 2027
- 9U Spring/Fall 2026: Birthdates from Sept 1, 2016, to Aug 31, 2017.
- 10U Spring/Fall 2027: Birthdates from Sept 1, 2016, to Aug 31, 2017.
If your child was born on August 31, 2017, they are generally in the younger group of 9U in 2026. If your child was born on September 1, 2016, they are generally in the older group of 9U in 2026.

We are built different on purpose:

This is not recreational baseball. This is intentional development with standards.
Costs will be communicated clearly during the onboarding process. We focus on value, structure, and development.
Practices will be held at Best Athletics indoor facility and designated outdoor fields. This allows for year-round development, regardless of weather.
Practice schedules will be set as a team to ensure consistency and commitment from all players.
Yes, support is welcomed. To maintain structure and fairness: no parents in dugouts or practices, no parent coaching, and do not approach coaches during games or practice.
Yes. All players and families will complete liability waivers, player agreements, and team policies.
Yes. Young Gunz is a registered LLC, properly structured, insured, and built to operate professionally.
